NONPROFIT CAPACITY BUILDING AND TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE

For over two decades OCCUR has provided free technical assistance, capacity building and training to nonprofit, community-based and faith-based organizations in the Greater Oakland East Bay through a comprehensive set of conferences, seminars trainings and one-on-one consultations. Specific topics that we offer training and support in include: • Proposal Writing • Assessing Organizational Needs • Developing a Budget • Nonprofit Management • Board Development • Strategic Planning • Public Relations • Fund Development • Panel discussions with private, corporate and public grantmakers

A MODEL BUILT ON FAITH PROGRAM
In partnership with the San Francisco Foundation FAITHS program, OCCUR offers “A Model Built on Faith” that addresses the capacity building needs of faith-based and secular nonprofit organizations through a series of free workshops and seminars that train faith-based, nonprofit, and community-based organizations.
