OCCUR provides, free to the public, asset mapping, census information and drill down data including information on local demography, public services, community issues/challenges, as well as geographical, housing, and economic data.

NEIGHBORHOOD PROFILES
OCCUR has conducted neighborhood indicator, asset mapping and drill down research for the City of Oakland which resulted in the production of the Neighborhood Profiles. This set of eight profiles features detailed descriptions of the history, demography, spending patterns, public education status and business opportunities of each Oakland neighborhood.

The OCCUR Neighborhood Profiles have received national acclaim for their effective value as a community education tool for neighborhood residents, community leaders, builders, local government and other sectors. CENSUS INFORMATION CENTER
OCCUR is a Census Information Center (CIC) and provides access to and disseminates to the public up-to-date Census data including printed reports, FactFinder brochures, statistical abstracts, and maps.

2010 CENSUS COMPLETE COUNT
OCCUR is a 2010 Census Partner and provides outreach and civic engagement services encouraging every household to fill-out their questionnaire and mail it in.

OCCUR will provide a Census Help Desk at its Eastmont Technology Center between February and April 2010. During specified hours, people can receive assistance from knowledgeable staff in filling out their Census forms as well as access in-language materials such as brochures and fact sheets.
